  • 4. Separation: The combination of the air-solid is directed to bag filters or cyclone ones. The centrifugal force is used by cyclones to separate the heavy particles whereas the finer dust is collected by bag filters. This separation is done in two phases and the goal of this is to recover maximum product and the emissions are minimized.
  • 5. Collection: The end product in the form of a dry powder is collected via a discharge outlet and can further be air purified by using scrubbers or bag filters to achieve environmental standards. The obtained powder is a nutrient-rich product and can be applied in fertilizers, animal feed, or industrial uses.
