Falling Film Evaporator Manufacturer

Falling Film Evaporator

What is a Falling Film Evaporator ?

Falling Film Evaporators are specially designed for heat sensitive products that have a low-scaling tendency. The In the Falling Film Evaporators, the liquid is fed at the top of the evaporator either using spray nozzle or through distribution plate to long tubes and allowed to fall down the walls forming film. Evaporation occurs on the surface of the film and not on the tube surface. It can be used for non-fouling and relatively nonviscous products where original properties have to be preserved.

Technodry is a trusted Falling Film Evaporator manufacturer in India, offering high-efficiency evaporation systems for concentrating heat-sensitive liquids across food & beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, distillery, and chemical industries. Our FFEs are engineered for continuous operation, low energy consumption, and gentle thermal processing—ideal for achieving concentration without damaging product quality.

  • Custom-designed based on product viscosity, boiling point, and solids content
  • High thermal efficiency and steam economy
  • Sanitary, corrosion-resistant materials (SS 316L, Duplex, Hastelloy available)
  • Designed for continuous operation with minimal maintenance
  • Integrated skid-mount or plant-scale setups
  • Backed by Technodry’s in-house pilot plant trials and process development
  • Thin film evaporation for minimal product hold-up and rapid heat transfer
  • Short residence time — ideal for heat-sensitive and foaming products
  • Operates under vacuum or atmospheric conditions
  • Multi-effect designs for energy-efficient evaporation
  • Optional TVR/MVR systems for steam economy
  • Fully integrated with pre-heaters, condensers, CIP system, and automation
