Agitated Thin Film Evaporator Manufacturer

Agitated Thin Film Evaporator

What is a Agitated Thin Film Evaporator ?

Agitated Thin Film Dryers are used to dry liquid solutions or slurries into flakes or powder. Agitated thin film dryer consists of a jacketed vertical shell having an agitator shaft mounted with multiple blades on it. Either steam or hot oil is passed through the jacket of the shell thereby heating the internal surface of the shell to required temperature. The liquid feed is introduced at the top and the dry product is discharged at the bottom.

Technodry is a trusted Agitated Thin Film Evaporator (ATFE) manufacturer in India, delivering highly efficient and compact systems for the concentration, stripping, and purification of heat-sensitive and viscous liquids. Our ATFEs are engineered for high surface area contact, short residence time, and gentle thermal processing—making them ideal for solvent recovery, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, and ZLD systems.

  • Designed for viscous, heat-sensitive, and fouling-prone materials
  • High-speed rotor ensures self-cleaning and thin film formation
  • Operates under low temperature and vacuum to retain product quality
  • Available in skid-mounted units for plug-and-play installation
  • In-house pilot testing available for process validation
  • Designed with easy cleanability and minimal downtime
  • Compact design with vertical rotor and wiper blades
  • Suitable for low boiling point solvents, slurries, and pastes
  • Excellent thermal efficiency with short residence time
  • Operates under high vacuum or atmospheric pressure
  • Handles high-viscosity materials with ease
  • Constructed using SS316L, Hastelloy, or custom MOC based on application
  • Can be integrated with condenser, vacuum system, and solvent recovery unit
